Addie at Nana's Farm June 2012

Addison had fun feeding the chickens, turkeys and pigs today at Nana's house.  This was a visit we had where we brought the dogs-we won't do that again.  Tiva somehow found her way inside the pig pen (that even has an electric fence inside the outer fence) and chased a pig.  Nick had to get inside to bring her out.  Oops! No pigs or dogs were seriously injured thankfully :)

These were taking awhile ago, and just now finally posting.  We were visiting my Dad, and a small group of people were going by on their horses (there is a place down the street that boards horses).  This woman offered Addie to jump on, so she did! These were taken October 2011.

1st Dance Class, 4 years old, June 2012

Addie attended her first dance class tonight! She did a great job, and really enjoyed it.  We weren't able to record the actual class, and instead Mom and Dad watched from a monitor in another room.  She can't wait for next week! The last few photos are after class when she is showing us her new dance moves! The class is called Creative Movement for 3-5 year olds.

4 years old, summer 2012

Great summer so far!! We were able to buy a pool for the backyard, and are currently in the process of filling it.  Addie is very excited.  We have been able to visit Nana Kathleen, where she has chickens, turkeys, and pigs.  Addie loved holding the little turkeys, but the chickens were a little to big for her.  Addie will be finishing up her first year at preschool, and will be back at Kay's for the summer.  We are looking forward to our vacation in July!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Addison!

Wow, 4 years old! We had a wonderful day on your birthday-we invited friends and family to the house-we played, ate pizza and cake, and had a blast!! It truly is hard to believe you are already 4...before you know it you will be starting K! You still enjoy 3 days a week at your preschool. One of your good friends just turned 5, and her name is Addison too! We love you so much Addie! You are beautiful, funny and so much fun!

Happy Halloween!

Addison had a fun Halloween! Addison was a mermaid, Mommy was a cat, Daddy was a dog, Auntie AJ was a witch, and Val was Indiana Jones. We all went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood, and then visited with Addie's grandmother. We had a lot of fun, and got a lot of yummy candy. It was a lot of fun seeing our neighbors-they loved seeing Addie all dressed up.

Apple Picking

We had fun, despite the rain, apple picking as a family this year. Auntie AJ joined us too, as you can see by the beautiful flower in the photo. We have already made 3 apple pies (one for Pap) with all the apples that were picked. It was a fun time!

Summer to Fall

Addie started preschool this year! She just started at the end of August, and she really loves it. She goes 3 days a week-a good amount to interact with other kids, and still time at home with us too. She says so far her favorite part of school is playing on the playground. The other photos were from our first trip to Storyland, which will not be our last. We had a lot of fun-it wasn't too busy thankfully. Addie loved it, especially meeting the princess in her castle. The one question Addie asked of the princess was where she slept. There was no bed visible so a perfectly reasonable question! :) We have had a great summer, and are looking forward to the fall. Apple picking season!!!
